Crunching only 20MB

Hey all,

Just wondering if anyone has experienced this problem.
When I use Crunchie on ABC recordings (Spicks & Specs and The Glass House) the resulting .avi file is less than 20 MB, usually around 17-18 MB.
Crunchie runs through normally, does the crop detect and the 2 passes but I only end up with this small file which contains about 2 minutes of video.

I at first thought it might be a bad dvr-ms file so I ran it through dCut and removed about 3 minutes before the show started but I still get the same problem.

It also only happens on ABC recordings, not on 7/9/10

Anyone else experienced this?

Hey Gurty, Sorry I can't help with the crunchie prob since I don't use it at this stage... but I couldn't help noticing your good taste in TV. Those are always the first 2 program series that get added to my recording schedule after I've set up. Rep Points for good taste! (It isn't a good sign that it sounds like I have to do that frequently )

Re: Crunching only 20MB

gurty,

Can you run those shows manually through DVRMSToolbox. There's a program called DVRMStoMPEGGUI in the program folder for dvrmstoolbox. Run that, select the input file and output file and choose dvr-ms to mpeg and click run.

I'd be interested to see if this works and you get the complete mpeg out of dvrmstoolbox.

Cheers,
Arkay.
