Video a little slow

I tried using crunchie on some wiggles episodes,,, Yes it is my favourite

When playing back the sound is good, the picture looks great but the video is not as smooth on the movement like it skips a frame, so someones hand moving is a fluid movement, more of a slow movement, but running at normal speed, it was converted at 1500 should I try a higher bit rate?

Is it only by "crunchie" converted files that this occurs?
I convert everything at 1000 bitrate and without any issues.

What are you using for playback ?

I have crunched around 60 episodes of Wiggles and Lights, Camera, Action - using the default setttings as I am too lzay to play with them - and never experienced this problem...
