Chrunchie .ini Settings

This is a question for those of you that have modified your .ini file to change the compression settings for Xvid.
Have any of you been able to achive 350MB for an hour show with the ads removed? ie 42-45 minutes?
I removed the ads with dCut, ran crunchie and the size was still 1GB.

Thanks

Re: Chrunchie .ini Settings

Hi Gurty

This is all i changed to get the compression level that you described

AR169==624:352
PASS1==-ovc xvid -xvidencopts pass=1:bitrate=5000:vhq=1:max_bframes=2 -nosound
PASS2==-ovc xvid -xvidencopts pass=2:bitrate=1035:vhq=1:max_bframes=2 -oac

Good luck

Re: Chrunchie .ini Settings

Kevvie,

Did you also change the audio mode above or was it a cut and paste error?

Mine reads:

PASS2==-ovc xvid -xvidencopts pass=2:bitrate=1035:vhq=1:max_bframes=2 -oac mp3lame -lameopts cbr:br=128:mode=1

Cheers,
Arkay.
