Webscheduler will let you schedule what ever programs you want, provided you have the tuners configured. So the real question is can you record 8 programs at once in MCE simply by watching then pressing record, changing channel, pressing record, etc, etc? In short do you actually have 8 tuners functional in Media Centre.
Yes i can record 8 simultaneous recordings, havent tried Media Centre (No License) but have tried FusionHDTV software. But we really need it to work in Webscheduler as the library is starting to get a little upset.

-Also i did think of starting a new post but since everyone was on the topic of Media Centre PC for schools and webscheduler i thought this would be a good place to put it.

What operating system are you running?

so the answer is no.

What operating system are you running?
Running XP Pro with Service Pack 3.
Have tried it with XP Pro Service Pack 2 and got the same result (1 card activates, others dont), Also using the latest version of webscheduler and the latest dvico DVB-T drivers (3.68 i believe). I'm thinking its a driver issue but just wanted to know if anyone had attempted what im trying to do, that is, running more than one Dvico FusionHDTV Dual express card with webscheduler.

Also is it possible to install Windows Media Centre without blowing away XP Pro? ive never really thought about it until just then.

Re: Media Centre PC for school

By using FusionHDTV you are not using the BDA drivers that both Media Centre and WebScheduler use. I suspect your issue will be there. So what you have proven is that the hardware works (ie using FusionHDTV) but not parallel instances of the BDA driver.

Have you registered your WebScheduler? If not, there is your problem, without an activation key it only deals with a maximum of two capture devices.

Come on give me a bit of credit here. Of course Webscheduler is registered and activated.
I suspect your right DDH, It may be an issue with the BDA driver and multiple instances with it. I've sent a request to Dvico's Test team to try and find a solution.
I have just put one of our old DNTV Live PCI cards in there aswell and it seems to run fine with the Dvico Card that activates, So now i have 3 Tuners working in WS. But the other 3 Dvico cards (6 tuners) wont activate.

A summary of my Setup is as follows...
Windows XP Pro SP3 32bit
Motherboard is ASUS P5Q-E, 2x PCI-E x1. 3x PCI-E x16
CPU -Q6600
3GB RAM
3 x 640GB HDDs RAID 5
Cheap ATI graphics Card in PCI-E x16 slot 1
4 Dvico FusionHDTV Dual Express - 2 in x1, 2 in x16 (Only 1 activates to give me 2 working tuners in WS)
1 DNTV Live PCI card (cant remember which one though, Activates and Works in WS)
Webscheduler 5.2.0.7
Latest Drivers for FusionHDTV Dual express

The DNTV Live card is a temp fix for the recordings as we are missing alot of programs. Hope this information helps you out.
Oh and cheers to everyone pitching in, really appreciate it.

-Shaun
