no data in MCE

Hi All,
ok got a problem with the EPG like a lot of other people have had ,ive been read the FreeXMLTV pdf back to front a couple of times , reinstalled BRP3 and Freexmltv 2 twice now ,
i can get blade runner to work fine in c prompt my issue is in MCE ,and i thought i had a system that worked fine,

i have read thread and tried what people have suggested but to no joy . i read the thread by Kurtland and got every thing set up the way he has just changing the paramaters to BRI as im in brisbane .

when trying to set up EPG in MCE with Nortons on i get code 14. i thought if i went it to nortons and changed my firewall setting for MCE from Automatic to Allow ALL it might but no joy .ok so i have turned nortons off ,i have got past the Epg and connect to the internet and downloaded EPG .when i go to scan for tv services MCE now cant find any channels ,
it say check signal .now i now my signal is fine and was only watching tv earlier in the night

i use Dvico plus HD tuner card .. ok **** it must be me got my channels back but when i clicked on Guide there was no data .MCE asked if i wanted to download but it still came up with no data ,

i check in BRP
c:\windows\ehome\bladerunnerpro\quickguide\listing 2.xml
and the data is there do i have the wrong file path

if some one could help
that would be great

cheer Tobi

Re: no data in MCE

Hi, I am having troubles with EPG in MCE as well. I have done all the steps in BladerunnerPro and FreeXMLTV and all worked fine...it did take a long time to create the files tho.. *dunno*. Anyway, now when I try to import it into MCE it appears to be going for ever. I am at the "Download TV Program Guide" screen in MCE, so all previous steps have worked as stated in FreeXMLTV manual. MCE looks to be importing the TV guide info however it has been going for over an hour now and my machine and internet connection are top notch not slow at all. The importation appears to be still running and has not "hung", but the time taken so far is getting to be a little rediculous. Does anyone know how long this process should take?
