I get a full week, generally. If I upload on Monday morning, I get it thru the following Sunday.

Re: EPG problem using BR Pro

Try reading through this thread...

Bladerunner Pro problem

It has been mentioned a fair few times on here and this appears to be the solutoin (not having the problem myself, but seems to fix everyone elses)

The issue appears to be that some people Internet Connection is to fast/slow/error ridden, or whatever other reason you can think of and that the older (and slower) version of TVHarvest has less problems in these situations...

Hope that helps.

Schlep.

Schlep.
Hi All, after downloading the guide using BR Pro, is it wise to schedule a reboot? I recall this was de-rigeur a while back. Sometimes I come home, the MCE hasn't recorded Days or Simpsons (so my wife and kids crack up) and in the Scheduled Recording area it just says they are scheduled to record - but this is after the shows are over. Weird, so I reboot and it just goes back to normal. I record from the guide and it seems to happen there. Do you think I should get MCE to reboot every night at midnight or something?

I certainly reboot my machine overnight.... a scheduled task that calls a batch file containing
Code:
shutdown -r
does the trick and certainly keeps the machine frash during the day... Just make sure in setting up the scheduled task you pick a time when you never record, and mark the properties to wake the computer up out of S3

Many thanks impact, I'll schedule the reboot nightly, to freshen the system as you suggest.

Re: EPG problem using BR Pro

Reboots are good, or you can give the (new) RU2 feature a run - details here and reboot less frequently.
