Re: New media centre user

Did you accidently double post?? Welcome. Not sure if this thread really belongs here, as the EPG is really only a part of your wuestion, prob more general software chat but anyway.

FIrstly:
- Install alll drivers (if not already done) and update the drivers.
- Go to windows update site and update everything, suually easier to leave for 30 minutes or so to do its thing
- INstall TV card drivers then install TV cards.
- Install an Mpeg-2 decoder (essential to watch DVD's and TV) Powerdvd, WIndvd, Purevideo etc
- Run MCE setup for the first time, tune TV cards
- Wham bang thankyou Mamm

To get the most you may want the following:
- My WEather Plugin
- Bladrunner Pro
- Yac and MCE-YAC (along with a caller ID modem gives you callerID on screen)
- My Movies PLugin (this is a must have look it up it is great)
- MCE CUstomizer 2.2 (I berleive that is the version)
- ANy other little hack or tweak you deem necessary eg S3 allow, record padding etc

Good Luck
