Bladerunner 3.5 + TVxb grabber

Hello forum members,

I'm trying to get things done using Bladerunner 3.5 + TVxb grabber.

The latter provides us with HK channel sample. OK, it works smoothly on my system (no errors, everything succeed), but after scan channels I have only 'no program guide for this channel' option... Why?

Also I am trying to get a ready xmltv file from the Web with Bladerunner: it works fine, downloads with wget preprocess ok.

After that the TVxb is triggered as a grabber, it inputs the xmltv.xml downloaded and is expected to output xmltv.xml and channelinfo.xml where they belongs. It does!

But Bladerunner seems not suit with that, and asks for guide.xml! While with sample files BRP was quite content with just two: xmltv.xml and channelinfo.xml... And if I rename xmltv.xml into guide.xml, it workouts til the end (no red letters in dos-box), but complains now about xmltv.xml missing!

What BRP needs after all: xmltv.xml or guide.xml, or both? but my grabber only produces either at a time...

Please help, I'm new here and got lost trying to find a solution on my own.

Re: Bladerunner 3.5 + TVxb grabber

Hi, I had a similar problem. I'm not proud of my solution but it seemed to work.

I created a one line batch file that copied the guide.xml file to xmltv.xml in the same location (so there were two .xml files there. Add a post-process in Bladerunner to run the batch file. Bladerunner then does it's thing and deletes both when it's done.

Hope this helps.
