Seven/Ten HD Channels

Everything seems to be working fine ... Bladerunner opens up OzTivo... it downloads all my channels and it's GREAT!

My problem is that Ten Qld, Ten Qld HD seem to have the same shows on them in the Guide where as Seven and Ten play different Items on their HD channels now.

I have double checked in the Guide listing settings and I deffinately have the right channels pointing to the right guides in the list, the problem is my HD listings that I download are identicle to the Standard channel listings.

Any Ideas???

Edit: I just noticed another post referring to the ChannelInfo.xml file.... i check mine and it does list the channels i require, they are still duplicating though in the guide.

Example:

<channelID>TenHD</channelID>
<virtualchannel>1</virtualchannel>

<channelID>Ten-Qld</channelID>
<virtualchannel>2</virtualchannel>

Any Ideas??

Re: Seven/Ten HD Channels

I have given up on these channels as OzTivo has like 10% of 1 day in a 1 week period which isn't really worth it. I cannot get it to display anything anywayz.

If someone has managed to get there's to display a different series of TV Shows other than the standard def shows, please post on how you did so as I can't for the life of me get it to show.

For now I am sticking with the double up and hoping when i record HD it is what it says.

Cheers

Re: Seven/Ten HD Channels

What media centre software are you using?

FreeEPG has merged feeds that show the HD shows on the HD channels while also showing the upscaled SD shows. If you're not using a MS media centre product they also have an xmltv feed available.

IceTV have also started populating their guides with this information (from this wednesday onwards) and have instructions for using different media software.

Re: Seven/Ten HD Channels

Hmm that is strange.

I am using Free*EPG setup but selected oztivo and works fine with the individual HD + SD channels for 7 + 10 but sometimes it lacks some data.

Re: Seven/Ten HD Channels

I'm using the Bladerunner with OzTivo program... seems to do everything properly just when I select the SevenHD or TenHD guides and associate them to a channel, it displayed very little or No data.

I am on XP Media Centre 2005.

Re: Seven/Ten HD Channels

I have changed now and am now using the FreeEPG software with a specific postcode in order to get my guide, this seems to be a far better way of acquiring guide information rather than BladeRunner.

I tried the FreeEPG Guide first to see if I could get the HD channels, SevenHD seemed to get it no problems but TenHD was no different to the standard TenSD. I also did not like the Guide information compared to OzTivo so i picked the OzTivo guide instead. The only issue now is that I have the same problem I started with with OzTivo where TenSD and TenHD are the same thing, same for Seven.

Has anyone successfully got the SevenHD and TenHD working with the OzTivo Guide??

P.S. I picked the TenHD (SD) and SevenHD (SD) guides which are supposed to show the normal SD guide with the HD differences, I shuffled through a whole week and there were no differences.
