Xmltv Error on opening

Hi guys my first post here... Just trying to setup bladerunner and xmltv together, bladerunner installs fine, as does xmltv. but as soon as it goes to update the guide in the prompt window, i get a microsoft "sorry but this program has to close" box, everytime. I've tried different versions, restarting too... but it hasn't helped.... any ideas? thanks

EDIT: just noticed this in the wrong forum, mods can u please relocate? sorry

I am getting the same - Bladerunner is working fine but it can't find the xml data.

If I run freexmltv with the command "FREEXMLTV OUTPUT=C:\blah..blah..tvguide.xml" it runs fine and produces the XML file with no data.

When I add the region switch for melbourne I get a "Send Microsoft Error..." and FREEXMLTV reports

Obtaining Guide data for: 21/5/2007

Re: Xmltv Error on opening

sorry to bump an old thread, but i'm also getting this exact problem (have tried BRP 3.0 and 3.5, freexmltv 4.9)

I have .net framework 3.0, i read that may affect it. so i'm uninstalling that, and repairing 1.x, 2.x. will report how this goes
