BRPro 3.5 + no setup screen

Hi

I just installed BR Pro 3.5 and I expected to see a setup screen similar to the guides Part a. I don't get such a screen during the installation at any time. So I cannot configure my xmltv guide settings.

Basically I Thought I would get this screen but the program just installs and completes

http://www.xpmediacentre.com.au/brp/parta.html

Any thoughts on how I can get that screen(s) to show?

OR can some one point me to a manual config where I can tell bladerunner where on the local drive to import the xmltv file from.

Note: I do not want to use this to run a grabber. I have that already. I just want to point something at my xmltv file so I can get it into MCE.

Thanks for any help
Teb

Try looking in the program group for Blade Runner and select the "configurator"

Re: BRPro 3.5 + no setup screen

Hi

Thanks for that. I have looked at the configurator but it does not allow me to do the task I would like to do.

I am looking for the Manual (Supplying own XML data) option which I cannot see anywhere.

So can some one advise how I can tell Bladerunner where to pick up the locally stored (c: drive) xmltv file?

I am assuming Bladerunner can either run a grabber to get and import an xmltv file or it can import one if it is local.

look forward to more replies... thanks so far

Hi,

Try the version before (3), as I think the instructions you were reading are relative to that.

The download available via downloads, MCE2005, Blade Runner Pro 3.5 does not appear to match the setup instructions at
http://www.xpmediacentre.com.au/brp/parta.html
Are these new Setup instructions specific to a Vista version?

However, setting it up is still easy and documented very well here

No, these were the instructions for BRP version 3
The instructions for 3.5 are below, as you pointed out.
