Vista + BRP + Oztivo almost

Im keen to get a BRP + OzTivo guide solution going in Vista as I need to get all FTA + Foxtel channels plus I like the flexibility it offers.

I have been using this guide

http://www.tvxb.com/doc/Vista-Blader...structions.htm

and it almost works. Just get an error code 24 at the last hurdle.

One thing I did find strange though is that after OzTivo downloads the guide data and BRP runs the guide.bin file created in the GuideData folder is only 20kb. Is this normal?

Re: Vista + BRP + Oztivo almost

Ive just successfully followed the same guide to get bladerunner working with Vista Ultimate using the Oztivo grabber. When I first ran it, I got the same small guide.bin file, but realised that the channel defs have to manually configured in ChannelInfo.XML (Oztivo does not do it itself). I used the channel defs at the top of the xml file built by oztivo to work out what was required - it wasnt rocket science, but if you want mine as an example, just yell... Once youve done that, BRP generates a more reasonable size guide.bin and I was able to do the normal edit listings in MediaCentre.
