Question Headend Service Error - BRP 3.5

I am using BRP v3.5 with OzTivoExtreme. Bladerunner utility runs perfectly from commandline with OzTivo downloading listings and all that. But when I tried to set up TV Guide in MCE 2005, I face some issues. First, it was the Unspecified Service Error code 14 which I figured out was due to my Norton Internet Security. But when I turned the firewall off, I started gettting this another error which is
"Headend service: Unexpected Error: Code 41"

One blog suggested that I should try few times with random interval to get around error 41, it didn't work
I am also using area code '0000'

Any suggesion?

Re: Headend Service Error - BRP 3.5

Sackul, did you have any luck solving this?

I am running MCE 05 and same software configuration - with the same error. I don't have any firewalls on my machine.

Were you using EPG*STReam or Free*EPG before? I am wondering if either of those may have messed up the configuration...

Cheers...

Re: Headend Service Error - BRP 3.5

Yes, I managed to resolve it. It was my fault. On the download site of this forum there's a program available for download called "BladerunnerPro v3 + OzTiVoExtreme Config" Despite of the fact that it says v3 and it's available under Vista category, I was using it with Bladerunner 3.5 under MCE 2005.
So I went back and uninstalled the program, deleted the directory (under ehome) and did a fresh install of v3.5. I configured OzTivoExtreme manually. This setup worked. Although I still need to switch off the firewall everytime I dowload the guide (to avoid error code 14)
No, I wasn't using EPG*STReam or Free*EPG before

hope this helps
