Recording issue with two similar / same shows on the same day

I just want to float this issue in case someone has already seen and solved it. Having said that I have a good work-around.

I use BRP 3.5 and OzTvio.

The issue is that when two shows with the same / similar name are set to record on the same day, one recording gets trashed. My most recent experience of this was this morning when I set two NRL games to record one after the other. The first started to record and then stopped 15 minutes in saying there was a tuner malfunction or power off - neither were true. The second recorded correctly. Now the wierd part, the first show has the description of the second, the second the description of the first! I've had this happen before with back to back shows.

My work-around is simple, when you remember use a channel and time to record. I forgot to do this last night, so its my own fault - luckily Fox repeat all NRL games so my daughter will not miss the Rabbitohs (she may not like the result though )

Just wondering if anyone has seen / experienced this before and any thoughts on it.

I should add, my guide is very reliable, was not being downloaded at the time, and no other events, processes or errors surround the time of this occuring.
