Blade Runner Pro 3.5/oztivoextreme.exe issue

Hi all,

I just noticed that my MCE EPG has not got any guidedata left. I ran Bladerunner.exe manually and got the following error:

Executing "MakeChannelInfo" command.

Creating ChannelInfo.xml...
ChannelInfo.xml already exists.
Skipping process...

Parsing "postprocess" section.
No items found for this section.

Transforming guide data...

Creating cab file...

ERROR: Could not find file: D:\WINDOWS\ehome\BladeRunnerPro\GuideData\guide.xm l

WHOOPS, Process failed, please refer to any errors...

D:\WINDOWS\ehome\BladeRunnerPro\CabMaker\Makecab.e xe did not execute successfull
y...

Auto close in 5 secs or Press any key...

Does anyone know if it is broken again? I got a friend to test it as well and he is getting the same error.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks.

Re: Blade Runner Pro 3.5/oztivoextreme.exe issue

Could you post the rest of the error?

As of 4pm this afternoon OzTivo is failing due to another change in the API

Re: Blade Runner Pro 3.5/oztivoextreme.exe issue

Sorry but that is the entire error message. Is there somewhere else I should be looking other than the dos window?

Re: Blade Runner Pro 3.5/oztivoextreme.exe issue

Hmmm.....

Is you're Windows Drive D not C?

If yes, it seems to be something to do the OzTivo Extreme grabber. Have you selected XMLTV and the stations you want in the prefs? MCE < TVGuide < ozTiVo

Could you go to this URL - http://minnie.tuhs.org/tivo-bin/xmlguide.pl And tell me what you get...i.e. A bunch of text or nothing?

Re: Blade Runner Pro 3.5/oztivoextreme.exe issue

----EDIT------ Scratch my original post. I did a system restore and it's all working fine again now. I guess it was something to do with my MCE installation after all.

Can't explain why my mate's one also didn't work though.

Thanks for your help anyhow

Hi there,

The MCE Windows installation is on drive D as I am on a dual boot system. It's always worked well. My friends MCE installation is on C and he also gets the same error.

When I go to http://minnie.tuhs.org/tivo-bin/xmlguide.pl I see a whole lot of text, channel info etc. I don't believe its an issue with the configuration of MCE as oztivoextreme worked well up until the other day.

Any clues? Nobody else seems to have reported this.

Re: Blade Runner Pro 3.5/oztivoextreme.exe issue

You might have been affected by the 2nd change in the API. It has been reverted until OzTivo Extreme is updated
