Question Problem with BRP 3.5 and FreeXMLTV 4.9

Ok, i have BRP 3.5 and FreeXMLTV 4.9 and i can't get them to play together...

i install BRP 3.5, and then FreeXMLTV 4.0 and let it do all the settings automatically and make the epg.bat file, then i update the freexmltv to 4.9 and run it and i get the following error

any idea what is going on??? im stuck!!!

Keep on trying P. Why do you think we all went off to Icetv?

Re: Problem with BRP 3.5 and FreeXMLTV 4.9

but i have the earlier versions going really well...when you had to manually create the commands for the grabber...

the real problem is that neither BRP or FreeXMLTV have a proper readme (that i can find) so, im not sure if i need something else installed...ie, Java Runtime Environment(which is installed anyway...plus Net framework v1.1 and v2)

Pantonius,

I thought you were pulling our leg with your first post. Xmltv stopped working months ago due to 9 encrypting their info.

There is free epg (see ciommunity > epg) or Icetv (commercial)

Re: Problem with BRP 3.5 and FreeXMLTV 4.9

Good on you P.

IceTv is much better with a lot of info on the shows but unfortunately not for free.

They have still the 1/2 price offer on for members of the forum and you can get a trial to see how it works. Setup is about the same as for Free epg.
