This subforum is dedicated to providing general support, feedback and discussion related to the "
Big Screen" software range (for Vista Media Center).
First off - a huge thank-you to Mike for offering to set this subforum up - and I'm really grateful to him (once again) for going the extra mile to help not only these products - but the Vista Media Center Platform/Community as a whole. (and it's indeed an honor to have a home inside this community).
So as mentioned above - this is the place to discuss the 'Big Screen' products - and get to have 'your say', some questions answered - and as with previous Big Screen - all your feedback will help shape the products over time.
Without wishing to sound like I'm peddling a standard (---) line - please be assured that what you write in here
is being read and taken on board - and while everyone has their own opinions and ideas on how 'addins' should be made, sliced and diced - it's all valuable and much appreciated feedback (and a vital part of us meeting 'your' requirements as end users). As with the general theme of this site - please try to be polite (but please be passionate) - and respectful of others (and I know I've personally slipped on this a few times - I will ensure to do better on that front).
To get things rolling - Mike has imported most of the "Big Screen" related threads that were started/hotly-debated/etc over past 12 months - and awarded me a moderator access (in this subforum) so that I can post 'sticky' threads like this one (which may hopefully over time answer the most common questions you have).
I'll also (time permitting) - try to provide some early access/sneak peaks, 'behind the scenes' information, discounts and special offers via this forum (when available and possible) - as well as doing some product giveaways along the way.
Also - rather than repeat some of the information already available on the
bigscreenglobal.com website - please also be sure to visit the
FAQ section - which may in fact answer some of your questions immediately. (regarding purchasing, trial versions, warranties and support commitments).
Anyhow - again many thanks for those who have contributed in some way to these products in the past (and have posted feedback here for my previous/discontinued beta products) - and I truely hope we can make these products better together.
Please also do try to appreciate that mobilewares Big Screen range is not a huge company (and in fact *almost* a one man show right at this moment - so when I'm answering questions in here - I'm not making new products) - so please be patient with getting replies etc (and I'll generally try to get back to questions as soon as possible / where needed).
As on other parts of this site - any other users who want to answer questions can do so as well (and the 'rep' points and 'thanks' system will apply in here as it does in the other forums) - and I hope to be able to reward those 'good community' citizens where possible too.
I look forward to seeing how this subforum evolves - and the exciting and passionate feedback I'm sure you will all have - and thanks for taking the time to stop by and read this message.
