Hi - thanks happy you like it.

The MCE2005 version is not as tightly integrated and runs as an external .exe file. This gives you a much smoother/nicer UI than a standard HTML addin (as I write my own graphics rendering routines) - but is a little more clunky getting in and out of the app. (and also doesn't work on an extender).

Blaize,

You will find it here:

Online media > Program Library > underneath ''Programs By Name'' you will see an icon of a figure holding an umbrella and you will also see a sun in the right top corner = big screen weather.

Thanks for that Bella

I am still finding my way around Vista but have to say I love it so far much smoother and handles my Philips 42" TV much better too!!!

cheers

Niall
any chance of upgrading the mce2005 version, so it's more like the Vista version?

Awesome Plugin Niall, Fast, smooth, pretty and accurate. Can't really fault it.

Although, It didn't have Wellington in the World list! Christchurch...but not Wellington.

Fantastic plugin. Intergrates very nicely into the interface but is there any way to have it on the main menu and not tucked away under "more programs"?

Hi.. I think Wellington got left off because I wanted to fit the world forcasts onto 4 screens (and not be broken up within a letter) - although I'm pretty sure the Wellington info is included in the downloaded data. (lol.. well can't please everyone - there was about 20 other cities left off too!)...

For adding it to the start menu - if you click the 'i' button when you are in the program library (while Big Screen Weather icon is focused) - there's an option called 'add to start menu'. This will place it on the online media strip in the main menu. You can only have 1 custom icons added like this on each strip though..
