Hi -
As per previous thread (2 posts up) - I'd like to get some detailed lineup information from DVB-S (and DVB-T) users that have not been able to get the EPG listings to automatically map using the standard techniques (ie. Callsign or Channel Number matching).
This will enable me to hopefully enable this auto mapping function from BSE Configuration tool - and eliminate the need for you to have to manually assign listings to channels in the 7MC 10 foot UI. (which many of you have complained about).
Your assistance is required and appreciated on this (as I don't have any DVB-S/S2 signals or hw to play with).
In order for you to provide me with the required data - please follow the steps below (and see image for example) :
1. Open Windows Explorer - and goto your %ProgramData%\microsoft\ehome folder.
2. Locate the
latest folder that starts with
mcepg* (ie. mcepg1-5-2). (The latest directory will be the one with the highest number - and you'll generally get a new folder each time you run the reset tool).
3. Inside this folder - navigate to the sub folder(s)
backup\lineup
4. Inside this subfolder - you will see a bunch of files - which are basically the full date / time of when the file was created. (and are incremental backups)
5. Locate the latest file in this folder (in example below - this would be the highlighted file) - and right click on it and .zip it up.
then....
6. Please email this .zip file to me at support______at______bigscreenglobal.com (of course fix this email address accordingly) - and please accompany it with information such as your Country/Region and what type of tuners your are using (ie. DVB-S, DVB-S2, DVB-T etc) so I know what I'm looking at.
Please also advise me if you can assist with further testing/debugging (which may involve me sending you an additional 'test' tool to run on your local machine).
See Below for an example of the folder(s)/file you need to .zip up :
Please DO NOT send me the uncompressed file (as it will result in very large emails and may fill up my mailbox).
I will advise when I've got enough examples to play with. (and edit this post accordingly).
Thanks in Advance - and hopefully we can nail this once and for all. 8)

ps - as per previous thread - this is not a solution for STB users (so please don't send me data if you have a STB).
