Start a scheduled task (control panel - administrative tools - task scheduler) that will run,

bsetool.exe -a

you should probably schedule it to run a couple of minutes after Tvxb has done it's job and created the xmltv file.

Guide works well for me. The only problem I have is importing the channel logos. I can't get it to work. I've tried using the enable button in the BSE config, but no go. I'm using jpg files that import OK with the tool from TGB, mentioned earlier in the thread, but each guide update the logos are lost.

Yes - You can assign your custom EPG listings to whichever channels you want (or ignore them) - so that way you can also use your microsoft listings (or your existing eit data).

From what I understand the logo tool uses a different method from Nialls'.

Are you using the format file://c:\logos\10.jpg in the logo path box (replace c:\logos\10.jpg with the full path to the file you want to use)?

Hi -

Are you sure that you have the logo paths correct - the logos should be working if you have managed to assign the listing to a channel (nb: there is a bug preventing some channels to do this for some people) :

The should be in the format : file://<fullpath>

ie. 'file://d:\mylogos\TENHD.png'

Please note that I think the My Channel Logos program doesn't do the channel updating in a kosher way - as it assigns the Logo to the Merged Channel and not to the source Service/Listing. (and is why you lose them with each update). This program probably works in other scenarios better (if you are only using the microsoft epg or EIT data and not supply custom data).

Also - don't forget to restart the media center shell to kick in the logos in grid setting.

Niall

Silly me. I had copy and pasted the jpg file folders into the config. I had missed one of the letters in the directory name. I'll check more carefully before posting again. Works fine.

Hi

I have come across one small issue so far with Ten HD guide. I could not find the new imported guide it to associate it with the channel.

I then disabled it in the application and uploaded the data. I uploaded 1 channel and a few hundred programs which you would expect. I then re-enabled the channel and uploaded the data again and it uploaded the 9 channels and all the programs.

I then went into the guide and found the new data and associated it with the channel when I saved it and exited it, it did not stick. I went back into the guide setup to associate it again and that channel was not able to be selected. I changed the names with -ice on all of them to make it clearer to me which were from the upload and which were from EIT.

I did the same steps again and in the end I got the same results. I associated the imported data with the channel saves, exited and it lost them.

Anyone else experianced anything simular?

Hi krauli,

You can try using the fields "Descriptionlclip" and "Descriptionrclip". This is used to eliminate from description the characters left and right the tag you put in.

In your case, try with "descriptionrclip=...'" in order to eliminate all rigth from "...'".

If you want, post here you xmltv config file for one channel and i can take a look.

Best regards and excuse my bad english, pleae....
