On spec. I quite like it especially for the price! Might have to listen to one now, have you? How was it?

I did, and they had my speakers to let me compare. DTS-Master was awesome, all I was hoping for. True-HD was a bit better than DTS2.3 and much better than DD5.1.
IMO DTS-Master rules.

Vlad, you live sort of in my neck of the woods. I have quite a few contacts inside various local AV wholesalers and retails outlets do you want me to see what the best price is I can find on that Yammy?

OK I have a price and I'll PM you with it, for anyone else reading :P. The contact I just spoke to said the Yammy is very nice BUT it just doesn't have the same punch and presence as the new almost identically spec'd Onkyo TX-SR606, the other major difference is the Onkyo has 4 HDMI inputs compared to 2 for the Yammy. Pricewise they are near identical too.

If you dare, my WAF will kill you, I have promised to let go my audio/sound expenditure for at least another 3 month. I will be happy to get one, but I am not willing to become single.
Thanks a lot ExtremePC - I will hold you you promise and in 3 months HA!!!
