Alutek ALU-7620 HTPC Case

alu-7620_011.jpgWhen I first received this case for review from AusPC-Market, I must admit I'd never heard of Alutek, so not wanting to be unnecessarily influenced by that, I decided that I'd look them up on the net only after I'd finished giving the case a thorough going over.

The shipping carton is plain brown double boxed cardboard, but whilst being fairly typical, it appeared smaller on the outside than many other manufacturers' HTPC offerings.

Question Re: Alutek ALU-7620 HTPC Case

ExtremePC,

Nice article again.. just one thing (Well a few now I review it), could you post a picture of the unit with front flap down, so we can see the hidden goodies...does it really have a 56 in 1 card reader?? I have never heard of that! I am considering this for my new build, alongside the Silverstone offerings out there, although no lights and slick solid build is exactly what I want. Did you get the control knobs working with a function? Is this easy without manual?

Thanks,
warren13
