Vista (Final) No TV Signal

Hi All,

I've just installed Vista Ultimate (Final Edition) and I'm having some problems. Main issue is I can't get any picture in the media centre program.

I have a DVico FusionHDTV Hybrid TV Card & a Radeon X600 Video Card

I've installed the drivers as per the site instructions -

http://www.fusionhdtv.co.kr/eng/Down...taSupport.aspx

http://www.fusionhdtv.co.kr/Eng/Supp...D=10&SCATID=56

http://www.fusionhdtv.co.kr/Eng/Supp...D=10&SCATID=55

I can now get Fusion HDTV Program working with access to all channels but not Mwdia Centre.

In media centre it finds all the channels but onces I;ve saved that and try to open live TV it says - No TV Signal Found

Anyone, Ideas ???

Andrew

Question Re: Vista (Final) No TV Signal

I thought the vista drivers came in 3.50.02

Is this not the case and you have to load these ones listed above?

I got this issue (listed in the forum) of where it didnt recognise my dual digital 4 .. so i have to go into device manager and point it to program files.

Hmmm should i load these ones??

All my HD channels are choppy .. and i have the LATEST hardware.

Re: Vista (Final) No TV Signal

vista final does not mean all the wrinkles are ironed out.......expecially dvico ones lolz !!

lets hope you get some jolly decent driver upgrades I had a dvico card once, hated it with a violent passion for all the stress it put me through

good luck
Astro.

Re: Vista (Final) No TV Signal

Feeling the same right about now, almost at the stage I'll go out and buy a new brand of card. A couple of hundred dollar is nothing compared to losing my sanity over this.

Thumbs up Re: Vista (Final) No TV Signal

Hi guys .. ill post this as a seperate one but you have to specially load the vista RC2 from Dvico .. its NOT included in 3.50.02

Addtionally I got a better picture wth the Cyberlink PowerDVD decoder. Being Vista Newbie I didnt know you have to use the vista media center decoder utility located here

http://www.xpmediacentre.com.au/comm...do=file&id=119

to make vista use it or else it defaults to the vista default one.

Vista MCE kept crashing when i used cyberlink audio decoder .. so i left this as default windows one.

Tonight ill try the Nvidia Purevideo decoder and give you the results .. seems weird using an nvidia product on my x1600 ahahah

So quick recap
  • load Dvico RC2 driver from their web site - make sure you get the right one ie Dual dig 1 you have to load to PCI and USB driver - DD2 you load just teh USB drivers even though its a PCI card same with DD4 sounds confusing .. it is just PM or write back for more info if you get lost
Then load a different decoder - doing both these solved 98% of my skipping issues
