Exclamation Windows Vista RTM Nvidia Driver 97.19

Windows Vista x86 & x64 (RTM build)

This is a new Vista ForceWare driver with build 97.19, That has been packaged to contain both the 32 and 64-bit driver.

First reports say that the drives work really good, there's even AA active now. No control panel for the drivers is in here though.
I have tried this on my Vista Machine x86 RTM Ultimate edition with a 6600GT and it fixes allot of gaming issues and general Speed and UI issues.

This Driver has been leaked and is NOT Officially Supported by Nvidia yet.

Get the x86 Version Here
Get the x64 Version Here

Re: Windows Vista RTM Nvidia Driver 97.19

Installed driver last night. No issues found so far but was very disappointed to see there is still no hardware acceleration with Purvideo.

lol, why do Nvidia always insist on leaking their drivers before official releases, it's like their unofficial beta test

Re: Windows Vista RTM Nvidia Driver 97.19

There have been v97.27 drivers for both 32 & 64 bit out for about 12 days. They do include the control panel.

And modded INF files for laptops are also available :-)

The latest official release listed here (ftp://download.nvidia.com/Windows/) is 96.85.

Where is the official 97.27 ?

Re: Windows Vista RTM Nvidia Driver 97.19

97.19 is also available from the laptopvideo2go forums. You don't need a laptop GPU to install them.

Question Re: Windows Vista RTM Nvidia Driver 97.19

All: FYI - I have tried the drivers for 97.19 and they don't seem to rectify the TV out issue through SVIDEO on some cards. I have a FX5200 card and I'm still getting a grey blurry screen but looks perfect on a normal monitor. I hope NVIDIA come out with a fully working driver soon coz I can't wait to get VISTA MCE working! Cheers - Scott

Re: Windows Vista RTM Nvidia Driver 97.19

I got 97.19 just by doing a Windows Update on my fresh RTM install (on a Toshiba M3). Didn't need to do anything else.. oh and this was about 10 days ago. Shouldn't be too hard to come by.
