2x tuner

Hi there

Is it possible to use both a analogue and a digital tuner with Vista?

Hi Peter,

Officially. no, you can't mix them. There is a work araound on this forum for MCE2005 which I believe will also work in Vista (I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong).

I'm interested to try this in vista too. Not to mix analog and digital, but to use 3 x digital tuners.

If you can comment on how well it works - please do so. I'm interested to know the issues with it in vista and what if any side effects there are.

there is a different way to make more than two tuners of the same type work.
search on this site for a sticky which explains - yes it works very well - there are many on here with more than two tuners

following the same registry hack as glen mentioned above will work with vista, I have tried it. works fine.
