IceTV Guide Inaccurate

EDIT: Title should really be: EPG data downloading but not updating the EPG.

Hello,

How often does the guide update, it seems to have only the 7 days since I first set it up. Although I do get update notifications and it does update successfully.

Changes to TV shows dont appear to be updated in the scheduled TV guide. This could be related to my first point.

Has anyone else had similar issues?

No, but since I don't use Vista that comes as no surprise.

Try posting to IceTV's forums or ring up their support people. That's what they are there for.

I wonder if its that your discSvc registry key is being overrridden.

The key should be set properly as the epg data downloads. It just doesnt seem to apply properly.

Question:

If I reconfigure my channels/EPG listings with the same order, would I need to recreate my series recordings?

I followed the links from here (via a few dead ends) but the registry fix described at http://www.xpmediacentre.com.au/comm...tml#post105594 seems to fix this problem with FreeEPG and IceTV on Vista.

yep, and if you installed v 1.5 of icetv it has that reg fix as part of it now
