I've also installed the Dvico drivers on this sites download section with no luck (same issue).

So my question is, has anyone had any luck with RC2 and DVB-T Plus?

Perhaps I should try installing RC1 at this stage?
Try downloading the Dvico Vista drivers here ftp://ftp.dvico.com/Products/FusionH...erForVista.zip

Also you might try running the Dvico region patch ftp://ftp.dvico.com/Products/FusionHDTV/CountryReg.exe

Remember if you have attempted to install the tuners multiple times you have to delete the tuner keys in the registry before doing a driver reload.

Ta Freddyfinn

I eventually did get the drivers to work, I was fooled by the Dvico website!

I have for the moment given up on using Vista. Mainly due to the fact that I get this strange black static in white areas of Xvids\Divx files. Only in Media Center not in Media Player!?!

Pity, cause I think the interface is a big improvement.

Good idea. The interface in Vista is much better and the guide problems seem to be fixed but it isn't at the stage yet where there are any decent drivers and the picture quality on a plasma is poor compaired with MCE 2005. I just wish Microsux would fix the guide issue in MCE 2005.

Re: Help! Dvico DVB-T Plus + Windows Vista Drivers

i'd just like to say thanks to Freddyfinn for his little off-the-cuff comment posted above regarding deleting the existing tuner registry keys if installing new tuner drivers.

I had never had this problem before in MCE 2005 and I've been deleting and reloading tuners for 2 years but upon rebuilding my Vista machine on the weekend I just could not get the tuners working in Vista MC.

Anyway I revisited this thread, read that comment, deleted the two existing keys and Hey Presto!

Off the top of my head the keys are found here:
HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Media Center\Service\Video\Tuners

The tuners are listed as sub keys with UID names. Delete them or export if you're unsure, then return to MCE and rescan for channels.

Thanks again

Julan

Re: Help! Dvico DVB-T Plus + Windows Vista Drivers

Ive been running the drivers that come with the dvico 3.50. software but have found that they cause my system to have about a 3 second delay when changing channels.

I tried all kinds of decoders etc but found no success.

If I install the drivers that came with 3.41 my channel changing speed increases dramatically.

Re: Help! Dvico DVB-T Plus + Windows Vista Drivers

I have a Divco Dual Tuner card and i had problems installing the drivers so this is what I did.

Goto www.divico.com and download the latest software for tuner cards version 3.50.02 (Approx 54Mb). Now install the software into vista as per normal. It will tell you that drivers installed successfully. When you reboot and go into device manager you will see unknown devices which are actually suppose to be fusion drivers. Now because the driver download is an executable you will have to run the executable and in the setup splash screen click on browse cd. You now have the temp folder that the setup files have been extracted to. Make a new folder and call it 'FusionHDTV3.50.02web' or what ever you wish to call it and copy and past the files from the temp folder into the one you created. Now in the device manager right click on the unknown device files and click upgrade drivers and then tell vista to look for the drivers in the folder you copied the setup files too under drivers. This worked for me.

Hope this helps.
