Vista RC1 + SBS

I only set up RC1 a few days ago but for the past couple of days I've been getting a "no signal" error with SBS, in fact all SBS channels SBS HD, SBS News, SBS EPG. I'm not certain, but I'm pretty sure SBS worked after the initial install. At least I think the preview did whilst adding listings to channels.

Is this a known issue, a return to the bad old days of SBS problems with MCE 2005 or just me?

Re: Vista RC1 + SBS

Same here! Are you sure this is only with Vista? This happened to my other windows, Windows Server 2003. I've been getting around 64% signal strength for SBS, and now it is straight to 0%.

I'm pretty sure it's only Vista, I'll reboot into MCE 2005 to double check later. Last time I checked my siginal strength it was above 80% for all channels.

Re: Vista RC1 + SBS

Just booted into MCE 2005 and SBS is working perfectly. Rebooted into Vista, tried SBS and got "No TV Signal" yet all non-SBS channels work flawlessly.

Re: Vista RC1 + SBS

For me, it turns out to be a change of Antenna configuration caused the problem. Although the TV (analog) was able to still receive SBS, digital transmission had screwed up. Put back antenna the way it was, and got back SBS in TV Tuner (now running Vista build 5728).
