Not picking up any Nine Channels

Hi,

I am unable to get any Channel Nine's during my scan. I'm in Adelaide. I'm using the same TV antenna that I use on my SD STB and that picks up Nine OK. Any ideas?

Try starting a scan, wait 30 sec. the stop the scan. Chose the delete scan results (or something like that) button, then scan again.

Let me know if this works.

During the TV setup I have selected Twin Tuners and it appears to work as I can record one channel while watching another.

I've installed BladeRunnerPro and have downloaded the EPG which appears to work except some stations still show up as "No Data Available" error. (I think that might have to do with which channels I map to which guide).

It feels like maybe it's a setting somewhere not to scan a certain range of frequency. During the MCE setup I selected Australia for the region and initially turned off the Guide. During the BRP installed I selected postcode 0000 for that to work.

Any ideas?

Hmm I feel a wee bit small now as I have fixed what seemed to be a major problem.

I had two leads coming out of the digitor amplified antenna, one going into each PCI TV Tuner. Apparently it works much better if you have just one lead going from the antenna into the first card and then a pass-through into the second card. Hopefully this small error can help some other noob in some way.

You seem embarased and call it an error.

It was not an error and from what you have told us, you may save others from a lot of problems.
