What is DVB-T Radio?

How do I set up dual tuners in MCE so I can choose either analogue or digital, and plus how do I get radio? My card is DVB-T and I can't get FM radio like TripleM or Nova.

I can get it on the normal card (analogue TV2000XP Expert). It's a real prick because I have tried to get radio and there's nothing. I might have to go to Dick Smith's and get a booster tomorrow.

Re: What is DVB-T Radio?

DVB-T = digital

FM=analog

It is possible to set up a hw encoding analog card and a digital together have a bit of a look around on this site.

Question Re: What is DVB-T Radio?

Hello,

I've been doing research for my own HTPC, and from the article above and also other posts that I've come across, would I be right in saying:

Putting Foxtel aside, you can't simply buy a digital TV card to watch DTV, and then buy a separate analogue TV card to listen to analogue radio only, natively without having to do any hacks?

Thanks,

Not within the MCE2005 application. If you want to listen to analogue FM radio, you will need to launch a separate program, and I'm not aware of any that are "remote friendly".
