Re: My Movies on Xbox 360

Sim,

My movies isn't supported....yet. Transcode 360 will have a solution shortly.

Best interim setup is have your movie directory mapped to my videos and transcode through that.

Later,

Nudge

To be honest i could never get the program to work in MCE let alone the xbox as well.... it never made any sense to me how to get it to work however i can see how it would be really useful and have the wow factor high.

Re: My Movies on Xbox 360

Ok it worked tonight and stopped again. It is really simple with the new version thegurio. For offline dvds just type up a txt document and press enter after each entry to drop a line./ Type in DVD's name and voila improt txt file into my movies and it automaticlaly adds the best guess for that title, then you just clean it all up

Re: My Movies on Xbox 360

I had mine working but recently did a reinstall of the 360 and now its not showing up. (keep getting the activex control/everyone permissions error when click on my movies). I have tried to reinstall my movis 2 on pc and set up a couple of permissions with no luck.

I have the exact same problem. Works on my MCE PC but not on the 360. It has something to do with the localhost web address lookup that the 360 cannot find.

Re: My Movies on Xbox 360

This is what you do install a program called VLC 360 1.2 and then you will be able to play your video from your computer to your xbox the xdix and mpeg, if you want to
play high def video .ts files then you need to install a prgram called HDTV pumped
that is a plug in for windows media player made sure after install HDTV that you right
click on a .TS file and tell to always open with windows media player.
