Xbox 360 portable

Hi all,

Probably a stupid questions but is there anyway of running the xbox360 off battery power?

I have seen some mention of rechargable batteries, but I think this is just for the wireless controller?

Cheers sof.

Re: Xbox 360 portable

Considering the fans it uses, it obviously consumes plenty of watts, so I doubt you'd do to well running it on a battery. You'd need a battery & inverter set up if you wanted to try.

Re: Xbox 360 portable

you could use a PC UPS, but it would have to be pretty big!

Not exactly sure how many batteries you would need to keep it running for a decent time though, might remove the portability aspect you are aiming for in the first place though.

Re: Xbox 360 portable

Have you seen the size of the power supply that comes with 360!!!! I can read a book by the orange light that beams out from one end of the thing.

Damn you'd need a battery pack as big as the proton accelerator strapped to the Ghost Busters backs.

And for those that can't remember http://www.ghostbusters.org.uk/proton.html
