360 keyboard?

Hi Guys,

Is there an Xbox 360 keyboard? or can you use the MCE keyboard with it? Being a PC game vetran of 20 years, I just can't get used to using these new fangled controllers to play games!

Re: 360 keyboard?

Nah, wasn't even officially or third party (had to hack USB and use linux) M$ don't want you thinking you have a Computer in your lounge. Its a console .

Check out liksang, there was a product called the Joy Frag or something like that that allowed you to plugin a keyboard and mouse via PS/2 for supported games (haloa and halo 2 being 2 of them). Really gave some the advanatage over others.

Re: 360 keyboard?

i thought a normal usb keyboard worked just fine (from xbox.com forums).

But you cant use it for games like FPS. It is only for entering text. It would be up to game producers to support keyboard input for the actual games.

I think folks are using keyboard for FFXI.

Re: 360 keyboard?

Yes, you can use any USB keyboard on the Xbox 360 inside the GUI and also in certain game lobbies (ie, FFXI)
