X-Box Harmony Remote

Did anyone end up getting it?

I got it with my 360 and must say that I have spent 3 days trying to get the bastard to work!

I am trying to set it up to run my 360, TV and Foxtel Digital Box.

At this stage I have got to work almost the way I want. I am still running into problems like if I press the "Play X-Box" button it will turn on the TV and the X-Box, but if I then press the "Watch TV" button it will turn off the X-Box and switch the TV on. There is no choice to leave the X-Box on.

98% of the time I just use the normal remotes, but I tend to use the Harmony when I am in bed as I only have to have one remote and you can press the button for the backlight to see what you are doing.

In my mind it is probably worth the $150, but definately not the $250.

Re: X-Box Harmony Remote

The software that comes with the remote is hopeless. I was a little disappointed when I first got the Harmony 360 remote. Then I found on the Logitech website a link that goes to www.harmonyremote.com. If you go to the website it gives you a java webbased app that will let you fully configure your remote, much better than the "simplified" control the app supplied gives. I've got my remote set so that it doesn't switch off devices if I choose different tasks and it doesn't toggle the power on my projector at all now.
