xbox 360 wont connect

Hi there ,
I am now the proud owner of 2 xbox 360's. I did have one connected and it worked quite well gut I deleted it from the extender manager (media center 2005 edition).

I tried to connect the new 360 but it went and it gave me for an 8 digit code. Fine I thought, but somewhere the procedure got stuffed up and now every time I try to connect the 360, first up it comes up with the 'invalid key' information and then it asks me to reconnect. However when I hit the reconnect button, it flashes up a new code for less than a second before telling me that the connection data is invalid again.... and so we go round in circles.

How do I fix this ??


Also, my old xbox 360 didnt have an 8 digit code, instead the code was something like MCX1360 (or something like that. Will I be able to get the old one back on line ??

Please help, the minister for war and finance has threatened me with bodily harm if I dont have one of them on line again in the bedroom before I head back to brisvegas for work at the end of the week.
