Convert your USB Flash/Hard into pocket PC – Free download.

I found this in download.com and thought of sharing with you.

I think this is really cool technology that transforms your iPod or USB Hard Drive or Flash drive into a portable and private PC. It works for all office applications.

It’s FREE for 30 days.

Good luck

Re: Convert your USB Flash/Hard into pocket PC – Free download.

Hi Steve,

Thanks for sharing!
I was running the trial version of it for a while and was pretty impressed too - although it was a little bit 'laggy' running on my old 256MB USB drive.

Another useful utility I've been using lately is the Portable Apps Suite. It's got Firefox, GAIM, OpenOffice, etc - but the best thing is that it's totally free!
If anyone is interested you can download it from here.

On a similar note - and for the more adventurous - it's also possible to set your USB drive up with a bootable linux distro.
To be able to do this you need at least a 1GB USB drive, and a tutorial can be found here.
