This is more a very advanced universal remote.

Esentailly you tell it waht components you have, how they are wired, what you would like to do and then plug in the USB and it gets programed.

I think (will say when it get one) that you will be able to do all you can with a MCE remote and then much much more...

Is it for MCE - Not specifically but it will do the MCE stuff and more.
