When I called the "Helpline" boys at Microsoft, they told me to get a technician in. Had the problem from the word go when I put things together in May and it persisted with the Service Pack upgrade in June.

I agree that the problem isn't the tuner since things are fine with WINTV 6. Hope it settles down with a future patch from Seattle.
