AVG is a funny beast

I know AVG has a reputation of finding a virus in a vacuum, but I was copying a stack of files from one hard drive to another & it threw up a Virus threat. What was it? VMCD.exe - the Vista decoder changer! Being cautious is good, but really, this is beyond a joke.
