thanks for the tip. I'm not trying to display it on my telly, it's the laptop screen that it won't display in full screen on (except in the resolution I mentioned). Having said that, your note regarding frequency may be worth investigating.
By forceMCE50hz reg hack do you mean as per MRX's comment here:
