Well, the Abit has got a few issues. After doing a proper test yesterday, I discovered that it won't wake from S3. If I get a bit of time, I'll investigate further over the weekend, but if it is a specific anomoly, it's probably down to having a tuner in the PCIe x16 slot.
Also, had another unexplained crash last night. Not convinced it was heat, so I went in to the BIOS & manually set the TRFC values for the RAM to 105ns (this was a fault on my previous Abit board).
More testing today, but it looks like it needs some BIOS fixes before it's a real option.

I'll image the system drivers of both it & my desktop & then swap boards & soldier on with the Asus for a while.
