What routers are you using?
I know the OP is using a linksys, but what about you MrCooms?
There was a long time ago with a Netcomm NB9W not connecting that was solved by using the following steps.

I had to change the following 2 settings, so it may be worth checking your own routers to see if they have similer settings.
1. Enable UPnP, I needed to tick this
2. Enable IGMP-SNOOPING, I had to DISABLE this.
Once those 2 settings were changed it connected first go. Now I just hope the thing stays stable. Hope it helps someone else.
