Sorry, no idea why this is happening - I can't reproduce it at all. If you export the
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\Curr entVersion\Media Center key to a file using regedit and send it to me in a PM, that might help me work out what is going on.
In the meantime, you can get rid of the link from the Tasks strip by deleting the
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\Curr entVersion\Media Center\Extensibility\Categories\Services\Activitie s key from the registry.
