Really? Did you read that somewhere? Gigabyte spec info is crap. It kinda sucks if it is 1.2. I'm in no hurry to get a BluRay player so it may well be that I'll be due for a PC upgrade by the time I need the audio formats that 1.3a delivers.

Are there any HDMI 1.3a graphics/audio cards/MoBos out there then? I must admit, I assumed that the MoBo just passed the raw data and that my AV receiver actually did the decoding of the signal. I've not thought much about it really. Hmm.
