Re: DVI to HDMI video ok... but what about audio?

Does your 8800 have a connector on it for SPDIF passthrough? If so, you'll need to connect the SPDIF header pins from the motherboard to it to get sound through the HDMI port. You will also need to set the onboard digital sound to the default audio device & disbale all formats except stereo (probably at 48kHz).

If not, your LG should have an option in it's menus to map a stereo (red & white RCA) connection to your HDMI input. CHeck the manual.
