I am using a NovaT500 + HVR2200 at the moment. Working OK, but I can tell when I am using NovaT vs HVR - faster channel changes on the later!

I'll see if newmagic are interested in chasing this one up. Meanwhile, I'm happy to keep with this setup for a week before I physically remove the legacy machine and cleanup all the cabling.
I then have some heat/coolin issues to sort out. System was drawing ~100W recording 4 SD programs simultaneously and running about 60C. The stock fan is too irritating at this level. But hen, I;ve squeezed it all into a S10V case, and therefore need a low profile silent cooler..!
