Can't change attributes on network drive.

Hi all,

I have a Maxtor NAS drive that I have connected to my router and use for MP3 storage.

I want to change the attributes of the jpg's to hidden, but can't

I can get the properties, take the tick out of hidden and apply it but it does not hide. When I get the properties again, it is no longer ticked hidden.

I can copy the file onto my local drive and change the attributes no problem.

I don't know much about networking, so maybe it is a permision issue or something? I have administrator rights, and the drive is 'public' and not 'limited' according to the Maxtor software.

Any ideas?

Thanks.
