Hi all I have got foxtel set up as per the guides on this website. I am currently outputting to my LCD TV via component cables at 720p and inputting to my TV Tuner via S-Video. Both the set top box and my TV are set to 16:9 and all other forms of video fullscreen but foxtel is still in 4:3 aspect ratio.
As such anything that is displayed in 4:3 is pillarboxes again inside the current display ratio (so it looks like terd). I am using the mainconcept mpeg encoders found
HERE which seem to have an option to set display resolution but it keeps defaulting back to 4:3 as soon as I hit apply. I know there is a software issue somewhere with either a codec or a driver. I don't know what else I can try, if anyone has any suggestions please let me know it's starting to become very frustrating.
