Re: Low Vista MCE music volume on XB360

Tonnyrat

Forget the codecs, they are not involved when running via the Xbox 360.

Are you playing via a TV or Amplifier? Are you using optical or analogue RCA connectors from the Xbox? Are they ALL bad? Do they sound OK on other devices? PC? Ipod? How do they compare with other MP3/MP4s?

Are you playing the Mp3s via the MCE interface or via the Media blade? If the latter, there is a volume control in the player that isn't obvious and may be the cause of your problem. To check, go to the Music player in the media blade and use the controller to select the speaker icon in the menu above the visualiser, click A and then direction up to change the volume up.

If its low via the MCX interface this is a different problem and prbably not one I can help you with...
