I have just brought a samsung 46in Full HD LCDTV - the prob I'm having is my Media PC running MCE2005 the desktop res is set to 1920 x 1080 but when I go into live tv the picture looks squashed (e.g the channel 10 icon is ovalish not circular)

If I use the built in HD tuner the picture is perfect

I'm using a radeon X800 video card in the PC and it's connected via VGA video cable to the tv (couldnt get the tv to work with a dvi to hdmi cable)

The desktop res is definately 1920 x 1080 but it seems that the live tv MCE is not outputing in that res - I am using a Nova T500 dual tuner HDTV card

Does anyone know how to fix this? - pls let me know - thanks
